FROM SUMMIT TO THE SEA EASY/FAMILY TOUR 

After the uphill transfer with our shuttle service, a long and smooth downhill ride, crossing the hinterland from Gavorrano,Ravi and Caldana to Puntala Camp & Resort.

An experience that leads you to discover the Maremma of mines, little villages castled on top of the hill, and the perfumed Mediterranean vegetation.

The tour is about 4hours, transfer and briefing included. It starts every Sunday from the trail center @ PuntAla Camp & Resort from 9am to approx..1pm

TOUR FROM SUMMIT TO THE SEA @SUNSET

Same tour as described for the Family/Easy but for advanced bikers, not only E-bike but Gravel Bike. 

The tour is about 4hours, transfer and briefing included. It starts every Friday and Saturday from PuntAla Camp & Resort from 5pm to approx..9pm.

TOUR FROM SUMMIT TO THE SEA ADVANCED

We suggest this tour only to advanced bikers, not for the difficulty level, but because it’s mainly uphill. Starting point PuntAla Camp & Resort, road transfer through La Vicinale del Pian D’Alma to the white road of La Zinghera, twisting inside a cork and holm oak hood. It’s a kind of steady uphill road, with some steep hill, reaching a small group of houses name Cesi ending up in Caldana. From here transfer to Ravi, up to the last steep uphill to La Finoria of Gavorrano. Here we meet the shuttle service to drive back to our Resort. If you feel fit and still ready to bike, we may go over and close the loop downhill crossing the Mines of Gavorrano to Forni (Bagno di Gavorrano). From here we cross the landscape from Gavoranno and Scarlino to the seaside. An “Off Road” trail, twisting and turning the flat track along a water canal that goes the wildlife oasis of the Padule di Scarlino (swamp) to the harbour of La Marina di Scarlino, the ancient Porto Scabris and from here to the coastal road, named Le Costiere, to reach the Puntala Camp & Resort.

This tour will show you the hidden side of the Maremma, meaning the mines, a rich wildlife swamp with migratory birds, flamingos, and herons, its puffy warm colours, wrapped by the sweet smell of the Mediterranean bush along the coast.

The tour is about 4hours, transfer and briefing included. It starts every Monday and Friday from PuntAla Camp & Resort from 9am to approx..1pm (+2hours for the loop).
