7-14 SEPTEMBER 2024 A-CAT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Once again, we are the protagonists as the organizing committee is the Centro Velico Punta Ala asd, and the PuntAla Camp & Resort, the official venue and village for athletes, jury and regatta committee, press, as well as companions, family members and regatta assistants, for the last sailing event of the season, the most spectacular and exciting one, the Class A World Championship.

Around 150 racers from all over the world are expected. Once again, almost 10 years later, these "Ferraris of the sea" return to race in the waters between Punta Ala and Follonica: Class A is a super-light, very fast and "flying" boat. Athletes of great international standing will be present, including some members of the America's Cup crews which took inspiration from Class A for the design of their new sailing vessels. The clubs in the area will help us with assistance at sea, as well as volunteers and the staff of the Sailing Center and PuntAla Camp & Resort.
