Are you visiting our resort for a sport event or for spending a day on the beach to discover our destination?
Find out how to doTwo days of gravel, one night by the sea: PuntAla Camp & Resort is part of the adventure.
On 27–28 September 2025, PuntAla Camp & Resort becomes an official stop of the Fiorino Mud 400, the bike journey across Tuscany. Around 50 participants will ride a 400 km loop with 6,500 m of elevation gain: rolling out at dawn from Figline Valdarno, aiming for the coast and stopping by the sea in Punta Ala; at the next dawn, everyone sets off together to close the loop.
From Valdarno to Chianti, then Val d’Orcia and the Maremma: kilometre after kilometre, the landscape changes, the light warms, and the air smells of sea salt. The arrival in Punta Ala is the highlight: pine forest, the scent of woodland, time to relax, and the sea just steps away. The stop in the campsite is part of the format: Ferrino tents pre-pitched, hot showers, food area, charging points, and mechanical support at the Punta Ala Trail Center to get legs and bikes back in shape, share stories, and prepare for the roll-out.
Fiorino Mud isn’t a race, but a journey—an experience: you follow a carefully curated GPX track (with water points, food stops, and scenic viewpoints), and everyone manages their own pace, choosing where and when to stop. For those who wish, times are recorded and published to compare with past editions—or simply with yourself.
“We have supported Fiorino Mud since the very first edition because it reflects the kind of cycling we believe in and want to promote — not just performance, but a journey of discovery and connection with the territory. For us, this is the true essence of outdoor tourism: an experience that brings together passion, nature, and hospitality. We are especially pleased that from this year the stop at PuntAla Camp & Resort becomes an integral part of the adventure” Thomas Andrew Daddi, owner of PuntAla Camp & Resort
Participation is open to gravel, MTB, and e-bikes. What matters is an adventurous spirit, the right kit—navigation device, lights, repair kit, power bank, technical apparel—and the desire to pedal for hours immersed in nature. The scenery keeps changing: from the white roads among Chianti’s vineyards, to the forests of Val d’Orcia, all the way to the pinewoods and beaches of the Maremma, along the backroads of the provinces of Florence, Arezzo, Siena, and Grosseto.
Registration is open until 26 September. Full details on rules, recommended equipment, and the complete programme are available on the official website: www.fiorinomud.it.
